Public Event: Join Jay and Dominic in Baltimore for a book talk at Johns Hopkins University
Jay and Dominic will be in conversation with Alison Taylor, the executive director of Ethical Systems to discuss how social identity and dissent can improve cooperation and social harmony
We are pleased to announce our first in-person, public event for The Power of Us book! Launching a book during a pandemic made it nearly impossible to plan a live, in person book launch event that we could open to the public. But nearly one year after our book has been published, we are finally able to host a live in-person event.
Jay and Dominic will be holding a book talk and Q&A on October 19th, 2022 at 5-6pm EST, at Mason Hall on the Johns Hopkins University Homewood campus in Baltimore. This event will be hosted by the SNF Agora Institute at Johns Hopkins University and funded by The Templeton World Charity Foundation. We selected the Agora Institute because it is focused on “Strengthening global democracy through powerful civic engagement and informed, inclusive dialogue” which underlies some of the core themes of our book.
